MEET OUR MOST
A delicious combination of fresh spinach, house-made pesto, local goat and feta cheeses + roasted onions and pine nuts delivers the perfect bite, every time
Harper’s has been striving to produce beers that are not only made from organic ingredients, but also made with reduced gluten content. We use an Enzyme containing proline-specific endo-protease derived from a selected strain of Aspergillus niger in our brewing process to reduce gluten content. Because this enzyme is a proline-specific protease, it chops up the gluten proteins so that people with sensitivities to gluten may not react adversely. We test our beers for gluten through Great Lakes Scientific using a test by Neogen called Veratox for Gliandin R-5. The result is that beers using this enzyme in the brewing process test below 10 ppm.

HARPER'S giveS back
Harper’s Restaurant & Brewpub truly appreciates our loyal patrons and has developed a mechanism to give back to the causes our customer base supports. Over two years ago, Trisha Riley met with a fraternity representative who unfortunately lost his sister to brain cancer and his family had developed a foundation that his Greek community wanted to support. As a result, Harper's created “Giveback Nights” to donate proceeds from cover charges to good causes. We are proud to say that the foundation above received over $24,000. To date our Givebacks have totaled over $250,000 and counting.
